My ancestry is a bit of a mix being Macanese (Chinese/Portuguese) along with English and Irish.
I am a husband and father of two, currently battling a form of blood cancer called Myeloma. A stem cell transplant is my only chance at survival. Unfortunately, no compatible donor has been found in any of the global marrow donor registries yet. Ancestry and ethnicity play a crucial role in finding a match, which is why I’m reaching out to relatives who share a similar background.
With my ancestry being of such a mixed background, the search for a matching stem cell donor is a huge challenge. By spreading the word about my need for a stem cell donor and the marrow donor registry, I’m hoping to increase the chances of finding a match.
Below is a video I made to introduce myself, as well as a link to the non-profit that is supporting me and my donor search, and their link to find a registry in your area:

I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider joining your country’s stem cell donor registry.
I'm also genuinely grateful for any support in sharing my story with other family members. I believe that the more people who are aware of my search, the closer I come to finding a donor and beating this cancer for my family.
Feel free to look my name up on the internet and ask questions.I have a nonprofit called 10,000 donors which has a goal to register over 10,000 people on the global stem cell registries. So far we have registered over 100,000+ people! For more information go to https://www.10000donors.com
Hope to hear from you soon,
Cheers, Peter
